Norfolk Fighting Championships held their second amateur pankration event on Saturday night in Simcoe, Ontario.
The main event saw a short and violent bout between Ty Kelly and Ognjen Bozic, with Kelly catching his opponent with a thudding cross that dropped him, where he was finished with some ground and pound.
With the win, Kelly was awarded the NFC Middleweight Pankration Championship.
His celebration had to wait though, as immediately after the victory, NFC co-promotor John Morrish brought Taj Gordon into the cage, and it was announced that he will be Kelly’s first challenger at NFC 3. No date has been announced yet for that event.
