Marc-André “Powerbar” Barriault vs Eryk Anders added to UFC 289

Fresh off a banger of a win over Julian Marquez at UFC 285 less than 2 weeks ago, Quebec’s Marc-André “Powerbar” Barriault gets awarded a position in UFC 289, scheduled for June 10th.

A source with knowledge of the bout confirmed this match up to MM-eh today.

Barriault (15-6 MMA) has become a fan favourite of late due to the aggressive, advancing, and relentless pressure he brings to the Octagon. “Ya Boi” Eryk Anders has a similar 15-7 record and is coming off a win over Kyle Daukaus at UFC Fight Night: Thompson vs Holland in December.
