Those in the know, know, that Squamish, BC’s Jamey-Lyn Horth Wessels is one hell of a fighter who could give any Flyweight a run for their money, and the UFC is giving her just that chance.
First reported by Dutch journalist Marcel Dorff ( @bigmarcel24 ), Horth is scheduled to make her UFC debut on April 29th in Las Vegas against Hailey Cowan at UFC Fight Night: Tsarukyan vs. Moicano.
Horth is undefeated in 8 fights, going 3-0 as an amateur, and 5-0 as a pro. She has 2 amateur victories over Canadian based Mexican fighter Loopy Godinez who is currently 3-3 in the UFC, as well as wins over notable Canadian fighters Corinne LaFramboise and Jade Masson-Wong.
Cowan (7-2) has yet to fight in the UFC proper, however she did win her fight in Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022.
