Canadians Julia Budd and Rory MacDonald have been added to the final event of the 2022 Professional Fighters League (PFL) Regular Season, scheduled for July 1st 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Budd, who trains out of Gibson MMA in Port Moody, BC, is an Invicta and Bellator vet who will bring her 16-4 MMA record into the PFL cage versus 2-time Olympic Gold Medallist in Judo, and 2-time PFL Season winner Kayla Harrison (13-0).
A true veteran of the sport who had his first fight at 16-years-old, MacDonald (23-8-1 MMA) is a former top UFC and Bellator welterweight who has wins over notable opponents such as Demian Maia, Tyron Woodley, BJ Penn, and Nate Diaz. He will be facing Swedish Kickboxer Sadibou Sy (10-6-2 MMA).
